Level of TT Competition Getting Pretty Tough

Orlando Runners and Riders USA Cycling Time TrialNew records were set at the Orlando Runners and Riders Time Trial course Sunday Feb 3rd.

It seems that now being a USA Cycling sanctioned event has attracted a higher level of competition. Even last week, we have Brock Brinkerhoff break the old course record of 13:30 (set by Will Rodriguez) with his own record of 13:00.

That record lasted exactly one week.

Jarrett Deerwester joined us and set a new record of 12:12. This record lasted almost 2 minutes, when young pro rider Steven Perezluha set a significant record with a blistering 10:27 (that’s an average of 29.3 mph on a course with three very tight 180 degree turns.)

Who knows what next week will bring?
